Draumalandið / Elysium, er röð 15 tónaðra kýanótýpa (cyanotype), ljósmynda unnar með 19. aldar tækni í vatnslitapappír. Í myndefninu mætir óreiða náttúrinnar reglu mannlegs skipulags á dramatískan hátt. Um er að ræða sakleysislegt og hversdagslegt umhverfi, sem í meðförum tækninnar tekur á sig óreiðukenndan og ógnandi blæ.
Myndirnar eru kýanótýpur, 42 x 66 cm, unnar á 57 x 76 cm 300g Saunders Waterford vatnslitapappír, tónaðar með lausn úr grænum Aleppo-eikareplum.
Draumalandið / Elysium, is a series of 15 toned cyanotypes, photographs prepared with 19th century techniques in watercolor paper. In the footage, the chaos of nature meets the order of human organization in a dramatic way. It is an innocent and everyday environment, which with the use of technology takes on a chaotic and threatening tone.
The images are cyanotypes, 42 x 66 cm, done on 57 x 76 cm 300g Saunders Waterford watercolor paper, toned in a solution of green Aleppo oak galls.
