Nú er ég búinn að ljúka endurhönnun á vefsíðu minni, TacticalArt.Net / HlynurHelgason.is og býð ykkur að skoða hana og kynna ykkur það sem hún hefur upp á að bjóða.

Hugmyndin að baki nýju síðunni er að gera upplýsingar um viðburði og verkaskrá mikið aðgengilegri.

Megináherslan á síðunni er á verkin, en nú þegar er búið að setja inn myndir og upplýsingar um þau verk sem ég hef gert undanfarin ár, olíumálverk, akvarellur, blekverk, og teikningar. Nú er boðið upp á þá nýjung á vefnum að fólk getur pantað verk þaðan og greitt fyrir þau. Þetta hentar vel fyrir þá sem vilja styrkja safn sitt með ákveðnum verkum en eiga þess ekki kost að koma á vinnustofuna til að ganga frá kaupum.

Á næstunni kem ég einnig til með að vinna gögn um »nýlistaverk«, verk sem byggja að mestu á ljósmyndun og kvikmyndun í efnistökum sínum. Á því sviði er ég að undirbúa útgáfu nokkurra myndraða sem kynnt verða nánar á vefnum á næstu vikum. Kemur fólk til með að geta pantað eintök þeirra verka á vefnum og fengið send.

Með haustinu ætti síðan að vera að fullu frágengin og þá ætti fólk að geta séð þar skýrt yfirlit yfir feril minn.

Á vefnum koma einnig til með að birtast reglulega fréttir og upplýsingar um starfsemina, eftir því sem hún þróast.[/lgc_column]

Now I have just finished the redesign of my website, TacticalArt.Net / HlynurHelgason.is, and invite you to browse through it and check out its novel possibilities.

The idea behind the redesign is to make information about events and the catalogue of works much more accessible.

The main focus in the new design is upon the works themselves. It already provides accessible information and images of the works I have made in the past few years, oil paintings, aquarelles, ink paintings, and drawings. A new feature in the catalogue is the possibility to order works directly from the website and arrange for payment. This can be convenient for those that wish to strengthen their collection by the inclusion of specific works, but are not able to visit the workshop personally to buy the work.

In the next months I will be adding more material about my work in New Media, works that are based on photographic and cinematic material. For those I am preparing the publication of a number of new series of works that will be introduced on this site over the next weeks. These are limited editions of photographs and videos and can be purchased via the website.

Come autumn the site should be fully populated so by then people will be able to have a clear overview of my artistic career there.

The site will also regurlarly publish news and information concerning my practice, both within and outside of the atelier.[/lgc_column]
